From July 20th to 24th, 2026, the VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation in collaboration with Tay Nguyen University, conducted the official site visit for the external quality assessment of the institution, based on the standards for Higher Education Institution quality assessment promulgated together with Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Throughout the site visit, the Assessment Team reviewed the University’s self-assessment report and supporting evidence, inspected facilities and learning resources, and conducted interviews with various stakeholder groups, including the University’s leadership, managers, academic staff, administrative staff, students, alumni, employers, and other relevant stakeholders. These activities aimed to comprehensively evaluate the University’s compliance with the institutional quality standards.
At the Closing Ceremony, the Assessment Team presented the preliminary findings of the evaluation, highlighting the University’s strengths, identifying areas requiring further improvement, and providing recommendations to support the continuous enhancement of academic quality, research activities, university governance, and the internal quality assurance system.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Truc – Rector of Tay Nguyen University, expressed sincere appreciation to the Assessment Team and VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation for their objective, professional, and responsible evaluation.
On behalf of VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation, M.Ed. Ho Dac Hai Mien – Vice Director, highly appreciated Tay Nguyen University’s thorough preparation, constructive spirit, and strong commitment throughout the evaluation process. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to all members of the Assessment Team for their valuable professional contributions and dedicated support, which greatly contributed to the successful completion of the assessment.
The official site visit concluded with the signing of the Minutes of Completion of the official site visit by representatives of the Assessment Team, VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation and Tay Nguyen University.
